STHS McAllen seeks a registered nurse to manage care for patients with medical or surgical needs. You will provide safe, competent nursing care per policy, supervise nursing staff, and lead care planning with a patient-centered approach.

Texas RN license (state or compact), BSN preferred, and current BLS and ARC/AHA certifications are required. Weekend/evening/night shifts and on-call may be necessary. We value diversity and compliance with our Code of Conduct.

Qualificações

• RN must be licensed in Texas or compact state or have a temporary Texas license while awaiting permanent license.
• BSN preferred and meet education/licensure requirements.
• Maintain BLS and current certifications (e.g., CPR, BCLS, NRP, STABLE) as unit needs require.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Lead and support healthcare team; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Oversee nursing staff under supervision and coordinate with hospital/ancillary departments.
• Participate in patient-centered care and ensure availability for weekend/holiday/evening/night/on-call shifts.

Formação académica

RN licensure in Texas (state or compact)

BSN preferred

BLS current

ARC/AHA certifications current (CPR/BCLS, NRP, STABLE as applicable)
