Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks a Rigging Superintendent to supervise craft employees across a construction discipline. You’ll plan work, ensure safety, and coordinate with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to meet project schedules.

Travel to project sites is required; per diem provided per company policy. Strong leadership, communication, and a solid background in construction scheduling and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in a similar facility or heavy construction environment.
• 1+ years’ experience supervising craft employees.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and company core values.
• Plans and supervises work activities, determines methods, safety procedures, and manpower.
• Oversee detection and handling of issues with rotating and static equipment.
• Coordinate work with various crafts, departments and contractors.
• Maintain liaison with safety, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure compliance with drawings and schedules.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and conduct field safety audits.
• Communicate with HR to ensure manpower requisitioning and safety compliance.
