Job summary

Saint-Gobain Aerospace is seeking a Lead Engineer, RF & Test to drive RF design, analysis, and qualification of high-performance radome solutions. You will lead complex programs from concept through validation, working with customers, internal teams, and test partners.

The role requires a Masters in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years in RF/antenna design in aerospace or automotive contexts, with strong simulation and test capabilities. Travel 15-20% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 7+ years RF/antenna design and development, with simulation focus.
  • 7+ years in automotive, aerospace, or related regulated industries.
  • Simulation: Ansys HFSS, MAXIO or equivalent tools with model verification.
  • SATCOM: knowledge of antenna architectures, bands and interfaces preferred.
  • RF & electromagnetic engineering: antenna/radome interactions and RF loss.
  • Test engineering: define RF test methods, instrumentation and criteria.
  • Composite radomes: dielectric materials and multilayer constructions knowledge.
  • Technical communication: strong writing and customer-facing skills.
  • Structured problem solving; autonomy and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead RF design, development, and performance analysis of new radome products.
  • Direct RF engineering activities throughout product development with reviews.
  • Support business development with RF data for cost estimates and solutions.
  • Develop RF test plans and validation architectures across labs and sites.
  • Provide leadership in test data interpretation and issue resolution.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and with partners.
