Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level antenna engineer in the United States to contribute to antenna and radome hardware development. You will work with interdisciplinary engineering teams and suppliers to advance designs from concept through verification using RF/EM theory and high-performance computing resources.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, have coursework in RF/EM theory, and are proficient with HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi or GRASP.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (STEM) by start date.
• Experience and/or coursework with RF and electromagnetic theory.
• Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP.

Responsibilities

• Development of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
• Working with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.
• Working with antenna manufacturing suppliers.
• Antenna modeling and simulation execution on workstations and HPC.
• Interpret simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements.
