Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to lead the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and sensor ranges and chambers. You will guide cross-functional teams, coordinate with government programs, and ensure range compliance and innovation.

This on-site role requires a BS in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain interim security clearance. Strong expertise in antenna testing, measurement theory, and range operation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range.
• Operation of an antenna, radome, and/or RCS chamber/range.
• Experience with antenna and/or sensor measurement theory and range operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define and evaluate requirements for ranges and chambers and related test equipment.
• Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers and work with range equipment suppliers.
• Provide guidance and mentoring across the engineering organization.
