Job summary

MACOM seeks a Principal Applications Engineer to lead RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave activities with key customers and internal teams. You will translate complex requirements into robust design guidance, develop reference circuits, and craft high-impact technical materials.

You will mentor engineers across levels, influence product strategy, and drive engineering best practices while collaborating with design, reliability, marketing, and sales to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE or equivalent required.
• 10+ years RF/microwave/mmWave experience preferred.
• Strong customer-facing experience and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for RF/microwave/mmWave products and applications.
• Engage with customers to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Develop evaluation circuits, reference designs, and application notes.
• Mentor Applications Engineers and influence cross-functional teams.
