Job summary

MACOM is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to design mixed signal circuits for RF systems ranging from VHF to mmWave, from watts to kilowatts of power. The role emphasizes analog control theory, op-amps, comparators, digital control, and interfaces (I2C, CAN), with experience in PMICs and mixed signal board design.

You will collaborate with layout, process and electrical teams, test designs in the lab, and communicate results clearly.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; 10+ years of applicable experience.
• Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently.
• Experience working with microprocessors and mixed signal circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Design power supplies and analog/digital control circuits for RF systems.
• Develop state machines and control logic for diverse power and RF applications.
• Collaborate with layout, mechanical, process, and electrical engineers; test in lab.
