Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Principal Wireless/RF Engineer to advance RF subsystems for radar, EW, and missile applications. You will lead design, simulate, validate, and transition products to production while guiding a skilled RF team.

The role requires strong RF expertise, cross-functional communication, and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Collaborative work on DoD-oriented projects is expected in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing advanced miniature microwave subsystems and components.
• Experience with linear, non-linear, and EM simulations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF hardware design, requirements specification compliance analysis, RF simulations (Microwave Office, HFSS), design validation, product integration oversight and transition to production support.
• Technical lead for projects guiding a team of engineers with diverse RF, analog and testing experience to achieve compliance within schedule and budget.
• Technical lead for proposals.
• Provide labor estimates for both recurring and non-recurring engineering.
