Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior RF/Wireless Engineer to design and deliver advanced RF hardware for defense communications systems. The role spans architecting high-frequency subsystems, performing analyses, and guiding cross-disciplinary teams in a mission-critical environment.

You will lead RF design efforts, collaborate with engineering disciplines, and mentor junior engineers while supporting proposals and program execution. A U.S. security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF architectures and hardware designs for communication systems, translating system requirements into RF hardware solutions.
• Conduct circuit card and subsystem development activities and design reviews, translating requirements into RF implementations.
• Contribute to proposals by developing technical approaches, estimating budgets and schedules, and recommending RF architecture solutions.
• Perform RF/analog design, modeling, simulation, integration and verification of high-frequency hardware.
• Collaborate across systems, mechanical, and software engineering to meet objectives.
• Provide technical leadership through peer design reviews and guidance through development, production, and sustainment.
• Manage technical tasking and priorities across the product lifecycle from concept to sustainment.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and deliver technical presentations to leadership teams.
