Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Lead RF Electro-Mechanical Technician to drive hands-on assembly, wiring, and integration of RF systems in a fast‑paced lab and manufacturing setting. You will bridge engineering priorities with shop floor execution and mentor a small technician team on precision tasks.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and RF/test experience, with a focus on safety and quality in a high‑voltage environment. On-site work with occasional travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training welcomed.
• Minimum 5 years with hand/power tools and technical assembly.
• Experience with high voltage up to 480V is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on assembly and fabrication of RF components.
• Build I&C cabinets and integrate sensors.
• Work with 480V systems and test equipment.
• Perform precision mechanical and electrical tasks.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators on commissioning.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Report progress to supervisor.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Occasional travel or on-call may be required.
