Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a seasoned Lead Broadband Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead large-scale telecom projects including fiber, fixed wireless, and satellite systems. You will review proposals, draft preliminary designs, and coordinate construction activities while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires managing field teams, evaluating performance, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

Experience in wireless telecommunications, broadband engineering, or RF infrastructure.
Knowledge of wireless technologies including 5G and CDMA.
Experience with telecommunications tower design, construction, or deployment.
Understanding of RF coverage, wireless network design, and site requirements.
Ability to lead field technicians and coordinate contractors.
Willingness to travel throughout the region for site inspections and oversight.

Responsibilities

Review proposals and develop preliminary designs for new tower construction.
Evaluate RF coverage, propagation models, tower locations, and site feasibility.
Review tower structural calculations, drawings, foundations, grounding and specs.
Review broadband plans involving fiber, fixed wireless, and satellite communications.
Provide recommendations on site selection, design modifications, and infrastructure improvements.
Oversee tower construction and field installations; lead field technicians and coordinate site visits.
