This onsite role serves as AT&T's technical authority for RF design governance, partnering with global OEMs to review architectures, validate decisions, and ensure production-ready designs before mass deployment to millions of customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in RF engineering for consumer electronics or broadband devices.
• Hands-on RF design, reviews, or validation under power/thermal constraints.
• Familiar with RF testing methodologies, validation, and optimization.
• Experience with FCC/regulatory compliance and wireless certification.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, statistical analysis, and QA.
• Experience reviewing RF schematics, PCB layouts, and antenna designs.
• Understanding of the full product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RF technical lead for next-generation broadband devices, including Fiber Gateways, Mesh Extenders, and Fixed Wireless Access solutions.
• Review and approve OEM RF component selections to optimize product performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Conduct detailed reviews of RF architectures, schematics, PCB layouts, antenna implementations, and thermal designs.
• Assess RF designs for compliance with AT&T product requirements and industry regulatory standards.
• Audit OEM engineering and test laboratories to verify test methodologies, calibration processes, and overall validation capability.
• Evaluate OEM test results and performance reports to ensure specifications are met and results are repeatable.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through production readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing organizations to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Drive continuous improvements in RF validation processes, engineering quality, and supplier accountability.
• Influence product roadmaps and engineering standards that enhance the customer experience across AT&T's broadband portfolio.
