Job summary

Fulshear Ace Hardware in Fulshear, TX, is hiring a Shift Supervisor for a full-time, 30–40 hour workweek. You will lead the sales floor, deliver exceptional customer experience, and assist with opening/closing procedures, training peers, and POS operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required.
• Open schedule including holidays, mornings, evenings, weekends and Sundays.
• Knowledge of home maintenance and hardware preferred.
• Retail sales and key holder experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system and assist cashiers with register discrepancies.
• Go-to leader on the sales floor when other associates have questions.
• Complete and delegate opening and closing procedures.
• As key holder, open store with staff and secure store at close.
• Assist in training and development of peers.
• Maintain awareness of current sales and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve conflicts on the sales floor.
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising as needed.
• Support opening/closing procedures and cash handling tasks.
• Help manage online orders and in-store requests.
• Train and mentor peers to uphold store standards.
