Job summary

Staples is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service throughout the store while engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule is required.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience supervising or coaching a team.
• Ability to manage conflict professionally.
• Demonstrates honesty and integrity with customers and business information.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10–50 pound range.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Deliver an exceptional store experience with consultative selling and total solutions for customers.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader responsibilities to guide the team in delivering a great customer experience.
• Champion company initiatives and adapt to changes, taking on additional duties as needed.
• Maintain an engaging store environment and assist with daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the GM to complete and delegate operational tasks.
• Coach the team on winning behaviors through role play and feedback.
