Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and effective communication.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Proficiency with cash handling and point-of-sale procedures.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices relevant to retail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead in the absence of store management.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and implement planograms; maintain displays.
• Clean the store and support general housekeeping duties.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Sales Associate and assist in Store Manager tasks when needed.
