Job summary

Curaleaf in Ocala, FL is hiring a Lead Store Associate to guide a high-performing retail team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll coach teammates, drive performance, and ensure compliant store operations while acting as brand ambassador on the floor.

The role requires leadership, strong customer service skills, and a solid background in sales, cash handling, and POS usage. Availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in a customer-facing or sales role.
• At least 1 year of POS usage and cash handling.
• At least 6 months leadership experience in retail.
• Minimum 6 months in store operations (opening/closing, cash reconciliation).
• Curaleaf team members should have at least 6 months as Store Associate.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills; SOPs and loss prevention familiarity.
• Excellent customer service and communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, compliant setting.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, occasional overnights.
• Multi-tasking; comfortable with technology.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Strong de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming guest experience and coach the team.
• Deliver consultative selling and personalized product recommendations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and order fulfillment; manage transactions.
• Perform opening/closing duties, cash reconciliation, and POS maintenance.
• Maintain clean, compliant store environment and support shifts.
