Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker who can lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and ensure a clean, well-organized store while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and some supervisory experience, with the ability to follow plan-o-grams and loss-prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and process store deliveries according to procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; maintain cleanliness.
• Operate register, total purchases, and handle payments.
• Provide leadership in absence of Store Manager.
• Open/close the store under Area Manager direction.
