Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations, lead in the manager's absence, and ensure excellent customer service. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, operate the register, and help maintain plan-o-grams and displays.

You will also be responsible for cashier accountability, safety practices, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and follow store processes for receiving.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; maintain plan-o-grams.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and provide customer service.
• Keep store clean, stockroom organized, and front-end orderly.
• Open/close procedures under direction; ensure store safety and security.
