ServiceMaster by GBS in New York seeks an experienced Restoration Crew Chief / Technician to own each restoration project from intake to final walkthrough. You lead crews, assess damage on site, and drive safe, quality work while communicating clearly with customers and insurers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on restoration experience with water, fire, or mold.
• Ability to assess damage on site and take charge without prompting.
• Experience leading crews and technicians with clarity and accountability.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers, insurance adjusters, and the team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and manage jobs from first call to final walkthrough.
• Set up and monitor drying, extraction, cleanup, and mold remediation.
• Supervise and train production technicians on-site.
• Complete accurate moisture readings, photos, and logs using mobile software.
• Communicate with customers and assist with questions about the process.
• Interface with insurance adjusters as needed.
• Identify and control safety hazards on every job site.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
