Job summary

Highground in Tampa, FL is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee field teams on restoration projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion. You will manage day-to-day job-site operations and maintain professional client communication.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, enforcing SOPs, performing demolition with hand and power tools, documenting moisture readings, coordinating with sales for additional services, and driving the company vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong customer service skills with a desire to help people in difficult situations.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to learning, continuous improvement, and personal growth.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to support others and contribute to a team environment.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction, plumbing, water mitigation, carpentry, or related fields strongly preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians to oversee projects from start to finish.
• Ensure SOPs and safety compliance across all job sites.
• Perform demolition using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Document drying progress with moisture meters and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with In-Home Sales Specialist to address additional services needed.
• Operate company vehicle and comply with traffic laws and policies.
• Complete all applicable compliance tasks in DASH daily.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality service.
