Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief to oversee field mitigation projects and guide restoration teams in line with IICRC S500 and S700 standards.

You'll lead water and fire damage projects, manage daily operations, perform moisture inspections and psychrometric calculations, coordinate with Project Management, and ensure compliance while training Technicians and coordinating with customers and adjusters.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restoration crews on water, fire, and smoke projects.
• Proficient in IICRC S500/S700 standards and drying science.
• Ability to perform moisture mapping and psychrometric calculations.
• Proven track record documenting workflow and coordinating with adjusters.

Responsibilities

• Lead water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and related remediation projects.
• Direct daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors.
• Perform and verify moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations.
• Determine drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies in coordination with Project Management.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment.
• Oversee controlled demolition and removal per approved scope.
• Enforce PPE usage, containment, and cross-contamination control.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with IICRC standards and company SOPs.
• Document moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software.
• Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and internal teams.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians at all skill levels.
