Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Lead Technician II to guide on complex restoration projects across Omaha. You will mentor junior technicians and act as the technical escalation point on-site, ensuring IICRC standards and quality levels are met in every project.

You will manage water, fire, and mold restoration work, operate mapping and climate-control equipment, and coordinate with adjusters and homeowners. A strong leadership mindset and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on water, fire, and mold restoration experience
• IICRC WRT and AMRT certifications required
• Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT) a plus
• Experience with Xactimate scoping and insurance-driven workflows is a plus
• Proven ability to lead and train other technicians
• Strong communication with homeowners, adjusters, and GCs
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Able to work flexible hours including emergency/storm response
• Comfortable with mobile devices for daily reports and documentation
• Hands-on, physically active work

Responsibilities

• Lead water, fire, and mold restoration jobs from assessment to completion
• Operate moisture mapping equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, containment setups
• Perform and oversee Xactimate-based scoping for insurance claims
• Train and mentor junior technicians and conduct quality checks
• Serve as on-site technical authority for complex/high-value restorations
• Maintain communication with adjusters, GCs, and homeowners on status
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with IICRC/insurance standards
• Support duct cleaning and EnviroBiotics services as needed
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately
• Care for company equipment and tools
• Cross-train in mold, fire, trauma, and odor services
