Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Lead Technician II to guide on complex restoration projects across Omaha. You will mentor junior technicians and act as the technical escalation point on-site, ensuring IICRC standards and quality levels are met in every project.

You will manage water, fire, and mold restoration work, operate mapping and climate-control equipment, and coordinate with adjusters and homeowners. A strong leadership mindset and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on water, fire, and mold restoration experience
• IICRC WRT and AMRT certifications required
• Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT) a plus
• Experience with Xactimate scoping and insurance-driven workflows is a plus
• Proven ability to lead and train other technicians
• Strong communication with homeowners, adjusters, and GCs
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Able to work flexible hours including emergency/storm response
• Comfortable with mobile devices for daily reports and documentation
• Hands-on, physically active work

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with IICRC/insurance standards
• Support duct cleaning and EnviroBiotics services as needed
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately
• Care for company equipment and tools
• Cross-train in mold, fire, trauma, and odor services

Voda Cleaning & Restoration serves homeowners and businesses across the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas with carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, EnviroBiotics treatment, and full-scale water/fire/mold restoration. The Role

As Lead Technician II, you'll be the most experienced hands‑on technician on our team — running complex restoration jobs, training and mentoring junior techs, and serving as the technical point of escalation on‑site. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and Lead Technician to ensure every job meets IICRC standards and Voda's quality bar.

What You'll Do

• Lead water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation jobs from initial assessment through completion
• Operate and calibrate moisture‑mapping equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and containment setups
• Perform and oversee Xactimate‑based scoping and documentation for insurance claims
• Train, mentor, and quality‑check junior and mid‑level technicians in the field
• Serve as the on‑site technical authority for complex or high‑value restoration jobs
• Maintain clear communication with adjusters, GCs, and homeowners on job status
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and to IICRC/insurance documentation standards
• Support duct cleaning and EnviroBiotics service delivery as needed
• Accurately complete work orders, job logs, and mobile documentation
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicle
• Stay current on cross‑training in mold, fire, trauma, and odor services

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands‑on water/fire/mold restoration experience
• IICRC certifications required: WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
• Additional IICRC certifications a plus (ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT)
• Experience with Xactimate scoping and insurance‑driven restoration workflows a plus
• Proven ability to lead and train other technicians
• Strong communication skills with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and GCs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours, including emergency/storm response calls
• Comfortable using mobile devices for daily reports and job documentation
• Comfortable with hands‑on physical work
