Job summary

Christenson Cleaning & Restoration in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician. This hands-on role leads water, fire, smoke, and mold restoration projects and guides the crew on-site, ensuring work meets IICRC standards and safety protocols.

You’ll inspect damaged areas, operate moisture meters and drying equipment, document progress, and communicate with customers on project status. Occasional travel and emergency on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on restoration experience and leadership of jobs or crews.
• Experience with moisture meters, extraction equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and containment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead water extraction, structural drying, and mold remediation.
• Inspect areas, take moisture readings, and execute drying plans.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Assign tasks and supervise crew on the jobsite.
• Document job progress with photos and logs.
• Communicate with customers about progress and next steps.
• Maintain equipment and manage safety on site.
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation.
• Assist with specialty cleaning as needed.
