Job summary

Voda is seeking a Water Damage Lead Technician to oversee on-site restoration projects, directing technicians and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with IICRC and insurance requirements. You will lead, communicate with customers, and manage documentation and equipment on residential and commercial jobs.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of restoration experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 75+ pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years restoration industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work after-hours emergency calls, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Demonstrates basic proficiency in computers, email, and portable devices used to report daily activity.
• Preferred: IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT), CCT a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level water damage mitigation and restoration services according to Voda standards.
• Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial job sites.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Inspect completed work to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within company standards.
• Accurately complete work orders, logs, and necessary restoration documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and industry partners.
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Maintain inventory and organization of supplies.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Train and mentor new technicians.
• Be a team player and lead by example.
