Job summary

HMSHost in Kahului, Hawaii, seeks a Manager II to support branch management in executing complex QSR and casual dine operations. This role ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates to high standards, applying company policies to guide decisions.

You will supervise daily activities, assist in hiring, schedule shifts, maintain safety and sanitary standards, and manage cash handling while upholding wellness procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 4 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents; communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the GM/AGM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies, including health, safety and HACCP standards.
• Participates in hiring discussions, provides input on staffing decisions, and assists in scheduling.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Maintains wellness and safety practices and reports safety concerns to the GM.
• -Manages cash handling and maintains security of cash.
• Ensures display areas are clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
