Job summary

Flecha Cantina in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our front-of-house team and uphold the highest hospitality standards. You will oversee daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and manage labor and budgets in a dynamic, upscale Mexican dining environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in restaurant management, strong leadership, and proficiency with POS systems and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in an elevated restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems, restaurant management platforms, and financial reporting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• California Food Handler’s Certification and RBS certification required (or obtainable within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all front-of-house operations to deliver an elevated guest experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage performance to foster excellence and teamwork; ensure compliance with laws.
• Manage labor and supply costs and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Run quality shifts where hospitality and profitability are prioritized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by ownership or regional management.
