Job summary

Flecha Cantina in Huntington Beach, CA seeks a General Manager to oversee all operations in an upscale, polished casual Mexican dining environment. You will lead staff, manage budgets, ensure exceptional guest service, and collaborate with culinary and service teams to drive growth.

The role requires strong leadership, 3+ years of management in high-quality restaurants, and proficiency with restaurant tech platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high-quality, elevated restaurant setting.
• Proficiency with restaurant management platforms, POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools.
• California Food Handler’s Certification and California RBS certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and manage all restaurant staff; direct the work of 2+ employees to deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Monitor daily operations including food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
• Own budgets, inventory, and financial reporting; maximize profitability and control costs.
• Develop and implement local store marketing initiatives to attract and retain guests.
• Foster relationships with suppliers and local partners for premium ingredients and resources.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, discipline, and terminate staff; ensure compliant operations.
• Train and mentor assistants and managers to ensure consistent operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, liquor licensing, and labor regulations (California).
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and create development plans for staff and management.
