Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to staff the department, monitor workflow, and partner with the Respiratory Care Director to enhance operations and patient care.

The role includes training staff, coordinating daily activities, and supporting scheduling, coaching and performance assessments across the network. A strong background in clinical leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Five years of previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist or 2 years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of clinical settings, program development and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff with training, information and support to improve operations.
• Coordinate daily department operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with scheduling, coaching, training, hiring and performance assessments.
• Serve as a resource for clinical decision making, staffing and education.
• Provide direct patient care and support to the Respiratory Care Director when needed.
