St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess patient needs and provide respiratory care across critical and non-critical areas. The role includes ventilator management, patient evaluation, and collaboration with physicians to determine appropriate therapy.

The position requires current licensure, NBRC credentials, and 6 months of clinical experience, with AC LS and PALS recommended. A degree is preferred; training and education support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC credentials (National Board of Respiratory Care).
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Sets up and maintains ventilatory support for adult and pediatric patients.
• Evaluates and documents patient assessments and therapy results.
• Administers respiratory care and oxygen therapy per physician orders or protocol.
• Performs arterial blood gases and related specimen analysis.
• Participates in code blue and rapid response teams.
• Assists with bronchoscopy, fluoroscopy and GI lab support as needed.
