Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a Clinical Respiratory Specialist to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver expert respiratory care in an acute care setting. You will evaluate therapies, coordinate programs, and document outcomes in the EMR while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements include an RRT credential, state license, BLS, and 2 years of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of work.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.
• Advanced certification per facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations.
• Serves as Department liaison and communicates with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assists in coordinating and developing programs within Respiratory Care.
• Documents therapy and results in EMR and communicates to the care team.
• Works independently across patient care areas and supports colleagues.
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements.
