Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner I to perform respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. The role may include acting as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, with responsibility for the section during the shift.

Requirements include a valid state RCP license, NBRC CRT, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and at least two years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC required.
BLS certification required and maintained.
ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and maintained.
PALS certification within 60 days of hire and maintained.
Associate degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate required or obtained within 60 days of hire.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
Lead RCP on shift as assigned, overseeing the section or department during the shift.
