Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to deliver respiratory therapies and diagnostic testing as ordered, under medical direction. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of patient care with consideration for age-specific needs.

A possible Lead RCP assignment may occur during shifts. Qualifications include active RCP license, NBRC-credentialed RRT or eligible within 3 months, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and preferred neonatal

Formación

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and current.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and current.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA upon hire and current or within 60 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care with age/population-specific needs.
• May be assigned as Lead RCP with shift-department responsibilities.
