This full-time daytime role requires current RCP license, NBRC credentials, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certificates, and at least five years of acute respiratory care experience, with NICU

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC credential or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required or obtained prior to/within hire.
• Five years of acute/subacute respiratory care experience.
• NICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Cardiopulmonary Services Department and promote healing of acutely ill patients.
• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic testing, and address psychosocial needs and education.
• Ensure efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department and support day-to-day operations.
• Perform ABG analysis, ventilator management, and related equipment operation/maintenance.
