Job summary

Helix Human Services is seeking a Lead Residential Supervisor in Springfield, MA to oversee daily operations of two youth residential programs. You will supervise staff and ensure engaging activities with consistent routines while supporting a trauma-informed care approach.

Responsibilities include collaboration with clinical staff to meet individual treatment goals, stepping in for leadership when needed, and maintaining high independence and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience working with children in a residential setting.
• 1-year supervisory experience.
• Massachusetts MAP certification within 90 calendar days of hire.
• Knowledge of residential milieu concepts.
• Ability to work in a team treatment approach.
• High independence and organizational skill.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills; bilingual preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, phones, and copiers; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the residential program and staff.
• Engage youth with creative activities and consistent routines.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to meet individual treatment plans.
• Lead shift in absence of program manager and assistant manager.
• Support trauma-informed care practices under Building Communities of Care.
