Job summary

Helix Human Services is seeking a Residential Counselor in Springfield, MA to work with youth in our Cottage and SHARP residential programs. You will engage youth daily, lead groups, and support trauma-informed care under supervision of the Program Manager and clinical team.

Qualifications include 1-2 years' experience with children in residential settings, CPR/First Aid certification (training provided), MAP certification preferred, a valid driver’s license, and being 21 or older.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience working with children in a residential program preferred.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified. Training will be provided.
• MAP Certified preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth in daily activities and groups.
• Work as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team to support individual treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure program objectives are met.
