Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose defects, complete service requests, and prepare vacant homes for leasing, coordinating with vendors and vendors as needed. Strong customer service and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with reading and understanding policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and prep for new move-ins.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies.
