You will install systems, use diagnostic tools, and ensure compliance with codes while coordinating with the team to keep jobs on schedule. This is a full-time, year-round role with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience.
• EPA 608 certification (Type II or Universal).
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Proficiency with MeasureQuick tools, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
• Use MeasureQuick diagnostic tools to verify system efficiency and performance.
• Follow company procedures and local building codes on every installation.
• Coordinate with team members and dispatch to keep jobs on schedule.
• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Maintain professional, clean job sites and well-stocked company vehicles.
• Participate in ongoing technical training through Nexstar and internal programs.

Position: Lead Residential HVAC Installer

Location: American Fork, UT

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, year round

How the pay works

• Hourly base up to $35.00 per hour depending on experience
• Piece rate on top of that for every install you complete
• In busy season the piece rate consistently beats the hourly base. Installers land around $40.00 per hour, and $50.00 per hour is within reach for efficient installers who complete more installs per pay period
• Work is year round. We keep our install crew busy through the shoulder seasons instead of laying people off
