Willard Cooling, Heating, Plumbing, and Electrical seeks a Residential HVAC Install Lead to remove, install, and startup new systems, including ductwork. You will work as a 2-person team, ensuring timely, professional service per company standards.

The role requires EPA certification, 2+ years of install experience, and leadership familiarity. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills are essential. Full-time hours, with typical weekday schedule and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Remove, install, and startup of new residential HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with Installation Technicians to deliver service per policies.
  • Maintain a high standard of clean-up at each job site.
  • Ensure all touch-up work is completed before leaving a job site.
  • Work as a team with the crew helper to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
  • Pre-measure job sites to prepare for installation and connect equipment properly.
  • Maintain vehicle logs and drive the vehicle safely.
  • Stay updated on current HVAC technologies and products.
  • Address customer questions to maintain high satisfaction.

Who You Are

As our Residential HVAC Install Lead, you are confident in your skills and abilities and not afraid to make decisions. You a re drive n and competitive - but not afraid to admit wh en you do n't know something and need help. Our Residential HVAC Install Lead is primarily responsible for removing, installing, and st artin g up new HVAC systems, including ductwork and IAQ products. You will work as a 2-person team to ensure timely and accurate service to clients in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform the removal, installation, and startup of new residential HVAC systems
  • Work closely with fellow Installation Technicians to provide clients with excellent service as outlined in department policies and procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site
  • Be sure that all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the job site
  • Working as a team with the crew helper to get the job done professionally, efficiently, and in a safe manner
  • Request necessary parts and equipment in advance to ensure the installation truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each job
  • Responsible for the vehicle upkeep, record logs, and driving of vehicle; valid driver's license required
  • Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the client may have
  • Pre-measure job sites in order to properly prepare for installation
  • Properly connect equipment
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Compensation & Hours
  • Hourly + Piece Pay
  • Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
  • Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
