IES is seeking a Residential Electric Technician in Pflugerville, TX. The role involves leading residential rough-in crews, performing advanced electrical installations, and mentoring less experienced electricians. You will ensure safety, quality, and code compliance on demanding projects.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of residential electrical experience, reads blueprints, and exhibits strong leadership. Travel to job sites across the Texas area may be required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of residential electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical plans.
• Experience leading crews and training electricians.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential rough-in crews to complete installations safely and on schedule.
• Perform advanced installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Train and mentor electricians and rough-in crew members on methods, safety, and codes.
• Review plans and work orders to coordinate rough-in activities and ensure quality.
• Inspect rough-in work for compliance with codes and company standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex residential electrical issues on site.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate project requirements with supervisors, builders, and trades.
