Job summary

IES Residential in Texas seeks an experienced Residential Electric Technician to lead rough-in crews and perform installation, service, and repair work in accordance with electrical codes.

You will train and mentor electricians, review plans, ensure safety, coordinate materials, and maintain accurate records while delivering high-quality, code-compliant results on residential construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential rough-in crews to complete installations safely and on schedule.
• Perform advanced residential electrical installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Train and mentor electricians on rough-in methods and code requirements.
• Review plans and coordinate rough-in activities.
• Inspect work for quality and code compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and tools to maintain productivity.
• Communicate project needs with supervisors and vendors.
