IES is seeking an experienced Residential Electric Technician to lead residential rough-in crews, perform advanced electrical work, and train others on installation standards and safety practices. The role emphasizes quality, efficiency, and adherence to electrical codes on active residential projects.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on residential experience, leadership ability, and a strong commitment to safety in fast-paced construction environments, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Hands-on residential electrical experience required; rough-in installations experience highly valued.
Experience leading, training, or mentoring residential electrical crews preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead residential rough-in crews to complete installations safely and on schedule.
Perform advanced residential installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
Train and mentor electricians and less experienced crew members on rough-in methods and safety.
