Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a dynamic Construction Operations Leader to oversee residential sites across multiple communities. You will ensure on-time delivery within budget and uphold high safety and quality standards.

You will manage and mentor field teams, coordinate with trade partners and internal departments, and drive improvements across schedules, costs, and workmanship. This role requires travel between communities and sites and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in residential construction, construction management, or 8–10 years of equivalent experience.
• Prior experience supervising or leading construction professionals or field teams.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential construction operations across assigned communities, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.
• Coach and develop construction leadership and field staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Coordinate daily and long-term construction activities with trade partners and internal teams to optimize workflow.
• Monitor schedules, production metrics, and cost performance; implement recovery plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, policies, and quality standards across sites.
• Establish and maintain strong trade partner relationships and staffing plans.
• Review site conditions and reinforce cleanliness, safety, and overall community appearance.
• Communicate performance, risks, and priorities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost control.
