Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Superintendent I to support residential construction activities across Corvallis and Salem communities. You will work under direct supervision to learn site management, ensure schedules, quality, and safety standards are met, and collaborate with trade partners and internal teams.

Local candidates preferred; relocation not offered. The role emphasizes learning and developing core construction management capabilities while moving between communities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Up to 1 year of relevant residential construction or field management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple homes or production schedules simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily residential construction activities per schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate trade partner activities and verify work per scopes and timelines.
• Perform routine inspections and report deviations to supervisor.
• Monitor jobsite safety and enforce safety programs.
• Assist with scheduling and municipal inspections and permits.
• Participate in homeowner orientations and walk-throughs.
• Maintain jobsite documentation and inspection records.
• Support team workflow and assist with corrective actions.
• Provide mentorship to Assistant Superintendents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
