Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead the divisional purchasing team, oversee bid processes, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to support residential construction operations.

You will coordinate with Construction, Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure cost-effective procurement, budget alignment, and on-time project delivery. A strong background in ERP systems and team leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of purchasing or construction experience, or 8–10 years of equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience managing purchasing teams in homebuilding or residential construction.
• Experience with procurement systems and ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead divisional day-to-day purchasing functions and teams.
• Direct purchasing activities including bidding, cost analysis, and contract negotiation.
• Maintain division bid packages, option pricing models, and start-up documentation.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships to ensure material availability.
• Collaborate with Construction, Operations, Sales, Design, Land Development, and Finance.
