Job summary

True Connection Communities in Plano, TX seeks a Resident Experience Director to create engaging daily activity programs for residents across six wellness dimensions. The role collaborates with sales, trains staff, and manages family events to promote an active lifestyle.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and a passion for senior living; schedule is Tue-Sat with leadership responsibilities across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in activity planning, preferably with seniors.
• Experience and interest in working with seniors.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Basic typing and computer skills, including MS Word.
• Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, and team oriented.
• Patient, tactful, cheerful with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding services to residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors.
• Develop and deliver daily activity programs seven days a week.
• Lead and coordinate with third party vendors for programs.
• Assist with transportation for activity outings.
• Collaborate with Sales Team to promote an active resident lifestyle.
• Train staff and volunteers to assist with activities.
• Plan decorations for events and holidays.
• Coordinate family functions and events; plan weekly excursions.
• Capture and share photos of events for social media.
• Greet residents and families with hospitality; ensure excellent service.
• Support ongoing residency referrals and lead generation activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
