Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a Reporting Analyst to ensure liabilities and special projects are accurately planned, reported, and analyzed. You will use Workday and BI tools to inform decision-making and support Payments Services across its campuses.

The role includes acting as Workday Records Administrator in the lead’s absence, training teammates, and providing excellent customer support to internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, including 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant experience.
• Three to five years of reporting, analysis, or closely related experience.
• Each year of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Workday.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment with deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to explain information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile liability accounts and create journal entries.
• Support tax reporting to the Department of Revenue.
• Serve as Workday Records Administrator in the lead’s absence.
• Distribute agency-wide communications across departments.
• Provide tier 1 customer support for Payment Services.
• Distill large data sets into clear, concise reports for broad audiences.
