Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Business Analyst focused on Workday reporting to design, administer, govern, and continuously improve the organization's Workday reporting environment.

The role partners with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and IT to deliver timely and accurate reporting, including reports, dashboards, and calculated fields. A strong emphasis is placed on governance, data quality, and scalable reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting Workday reporting in production environments.
• Experience developing Workday Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Dashboards, and Calculated Fields.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance and reporting standards.
• Workday Reporting certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday reporting functionality and manage reports, dashboards, scorecards, and calculated fields.
• Ensure reports run accurately, on time, with defined SLAs and optimize performance.
• Lead requirements gathering with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders for reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain reporting architecture, standards, and governance processes.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, and validations for new/updated reports during Workday releases.
• Ensure data definitions, security, and access controls align with business needs.
