Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Lead Rental Yard Associate in Colorado to lead day-to-day yard operations, supervise associates, and ensure all rental equipment is ready for customers. The role emphasizes safety training, preventive maintenance, and accurate inventory control.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($20.00–$28.00) with benefits and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in rental equipment operations.
• Experience leading, training and supporting associates.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and equipment inspections.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audits all required documentation, timesheets, checklists, receiving records and maintenance logs.
• Establishes and maintains a written maintenance schedule.
• Oversees service, repair and/or rebuild of equipment as necessary.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Performs weekly and monthly equipment rental inventories to ensure appropriate stock.
• Monitors rental transactions to track lost or stolen equipment and reports as needed.
• Opens and closes the rental yard; authorizes refunds and handles customer issues.
• Oversees forklift maintenance and daily pre-operation checklists.
• Administers goals and safety training programs for associates.
