Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Lead Rental Yard Associate in the United States. The role includes auditing documents, maintaining maintenance schedules, supervising equipment service and repairs, and ensuring all rental gear is ready for customers.

The position involves inventory, safety training, and customer issue resolution. Preferred candidates have 1-2 years of lead experience in a similar industry, forklift experience, and Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience sought.
• 1-2 years lead experience preferred in similar industry.
• Spanish language proficiency requested.

Responsibilities

• Audits all required documentation, timesheets, checklists, receiving records and maintenance logs.
• Establishes and maintains a written maintenance schedule.
• Oversees service, repair and/or rebuild of equipment as necessary.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before dispatch.
• Performs weekly and monthly equipment rental inventories.
• Monitors rental transactions to track lost or stolen equipment and reports as needed.
• Opens and closes the rental yard and handles customer issues.
• Oversees forklift maintenance and daily pre-operation checklists.
• Administers safety training programs for associates.
